Savoury Winter Essential Oil
Savoury Winter has a sharp, herbaceous odour and the whole herb is steam distilled to extract the oil. Savoury winter is cleansing, protective and is a good oil for balancing. It may help to maintain healthy ears and throat.
How to use?
4-5 drops in bath, on tissue or in a vaporiser. 15 drops in 50ml carrier.
WARNING – do not apply undiluted or internally. Keep away from children and eyes. Store in cool, dark place.

Savoury Winter is a colourless or pale yellow oil with a sharp, medicinal, herbaceous odour.
It is a bushy perennial subshrub up to 40cm high with woody stems at the base, linear leaves and pale purple flowers. It is occasionally used in perfumery work and sometimes in seasonings. It is native to the Mediterranean region but is now found all over Europe, Turkey and Russia. The oil is mainly produced in Spain, Morocco and Yugoslavia. When compared to the varieties of Thyme, Rosemary and Lavender, recent research has shown that the net superiority of the antimicrobial properties of the essence of savoury.
