| Hazelnut oil is cold pressed from the nut, is amber yellow in colour and has a pleasant aroma. It is nourishing to the skin, has a light astringent action and is stimulating to the circulation. It is often used on oily skin, particularly in cases of acne as it penetrates the skin quickly and does not leave the skin greasy. Used 25% in a blend with sunflower, hazelnut has a light easy texture to work with. It will keep for up to two years in a cool, dark place. |
