| Carrot oil is extracted by maceration of the chopped carrot root in a carrier oil and is rich in beta-carotene, vitamins A, B, C, D, E and F. It is used to treat burns and is anti-inflammatory. Carrot Oil help to prepare the body for sun exposure, especially in people with light skin, by promoting the production of melanin. It is also an effective skin rejuvenator, which can delay the ageing process and helps the healing process by assisting in the formation of scar tissue. Whilst it is light in texture, its bright orange colour can stain and is best used at 25% in combination with another carrier oil for an effective treatment.
