| Arnica has been used for a long time by both Europeans and Native Americans to soothe muscle aches, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds. An effective remedy for the topical treatment of bruises, sprains, inflammation, reducing pain and swelling. The herb is used as a vulnerary i.e. for wound healing (vulnerary comes from the Latin word ‘vulnus’ meaning wound). Arnica can be used on its own or mixed with other carrier oil and essential oils.
