What are the teachers’ qualifications and experience?
All our teachers are qualified professional aromatherapist and tutors. You can find their profiles in ‘About Us’ > ‘Our Team’

How long is the course?
The maximum period within which the course must be completed is 3 years (unless there are exceptional circumstances), although completion is recommended within 2 years. All modules must be completed before taking the theoretical examination. Students must have a qualification in anatomy and physiology.

Will I able to get a refund if I cannot complete the course?
Cancellations given over 14 days’ notice before the course commencement (before Module 1) can elect to receive a full refund or be transferred to another course (HK$300 administration fee will apply).Cancellation within 14 days of course commencement (Module 1) forfeits 50% of the full payment. If you have prepaid the whole course but elect to withdraw during the course, no refund will be provided.
You are able to postpone the course for 12 months anytime during the course prior to the commencement of the next module.
If we cancel a course, the student will be offered the following options: Free transfer to the next available course.

What content included in the course?
The course consists of five in-house modules and a separate anatomy & physiology module, which included:
- Theory of aromatherapy and massage
- Properties and effects of essential oils
- Massage practise
- Anatomy and physiology
- Basic business study -
Is it compulsory to attend anatomy?
Yes, you need to understand how the body works to be a prescriptive/clinical aromatherapist.

What qualifications will eligible for exemptions?
Those who have massage and anatomy certificates and qualifications are exempt from the aromatherapeutic body massage course and the anatomy and physiology course (Please submit detail of qualification) Exemption from Anatomy & Physiology module is granted if the student provides proof of relevant qualifications.

Homework required
Students are required to complete case studies and homework in between courses and an in-depth case-study is required as part of the examination. A formal practical (where applicable) and theoretical exam is the final part of the course.

What language is the course conducted in?
The course can be taught in both English and Cantonese. You will be given plenty of time and help to learn the Latin names and to revisit all the notes during the course. Tutor are readily available to answer any of your questions.

Can I learn about the clinic aromatherapy without the massage?
Students who do not want to practise massage can still part qualify as an ‘Aromatherapist without Massage’.

What is the difference between IFPA and IFA qualification?
The biggest difference between IFA and IFPA is that IFPA participates in government legal development and sets training standards for the industry in the UK.

How many students in a class?
We conduct our classes in small groups (approximately 6-8).

What are benefits and career prospects after graduating?
- Use essential oils safely and effectively for enjoyment, self-care and natural healing.
- Help friends and family improve their health and well-being with aromatherapy.

How much is the course?
The course fee is HK$47,000. Register for all modules and make full payment before course commencement date to receive a HK$10,000 discount on the full course fee. Students can enjoy one-on-one classes at an additional charge of $1,000 per teaching day. Exclusive kit offers and student discounts are available to students once enrolled.

Can I apply for the Government Continuing Education Fund for this course?
Our courses cannot apply for the government continuing education fund.

How long is the skin consultation?
The skin consultation will take around 1.5 hours.

What will be included in a skin consultation?
Our aromatherapist will observe and assess your skin, analyse your skincare products and understand your lifestyle, in an attempt to identify the cause of the skin conditions.

How must does it cost?
Skin consultation: HKD$800 (one-off-fee)
Patch test: HKD$600 (6 essential oils and 5 base product)

What are the therapist qualifications and experience?
Our aromatherapist - Carmen Man is a member of International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (MIFPA), has over 10 years of experience in using clinical aromatherapy to formulate and have successfully treated a wide range of skincare problems.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and PayPal, or by cash and PayMe at the shop.

Do I have to sign up as a member before I can place an order?
No, but if you become our member you are likely to have a discount for the next purchase.

Can I cancel my order?
You cannot cancel the order after purchase. You can only get the refund if we are out of stock.

Can I exchange an item I purchased?
You can change a particular item. If the value of the product you want to buy is cheaper than the unwanted item, you will not get a refund for the remaining balance.

Do I get a discount if I am a therapist?

How much is the delivery?
For deliveries within Hong Kong, a standard delivery fee of HKD$50 will be charged and the delivery is done through SF-Express.

How can I get free delivery?
Orders above HKD$600 will be offered free shipping.

How do I return or refund an order?
If you want to return a product, please contact order@penny-price.com.hk. You can only get a refund if we are out of stock.

How can I return an incorrect, faulty or damaged item?

What are the delivery options?
You can elect to pick up your online orders at our shop in TST or have it delivered by SF-Express.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we do ship overseas except China and Taiwan. For the other cities, please contact us on 5500 3487 (WhatsApp) or email to order@penny-price.com.hk. Delivery and postage fees for overseas orders will be calculated individually and quoted via email.

How long is the delivery?
Orders for Hong Kong are usually processed and despatched within 2-3 working days. Large orders may take as long as 5 working days to reach you depending on stock availability.
